It was purchased in 2006 from a well-known textile maker (name forgotten, but renowned locally) during my time serving in Iraq as a naval pilot. Worn once to a U.S. Marine Ball, the scarf has stayed in pristine condition. Made from the finest silk, the fabric flows like water and glows softly in the light.
